Don Lilly III is a seasoned Financial Advisor and General Manager with Futurity First Wealth Management, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial services, insurance, and retirement planning. As a third-generation industry professional with deep roots in financial strategy and client advocacy, Don is passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners build confidence around their financial futures.
Don’s approach to wealth management focuses on clarity, education, and personalized planning. He guides clients through complex decisions involving retirement income planning, Medicare, Social Security strategies, risk management, life insurance, long-term care solutions, and investment planning — always with an eye toward long-term goals and peace of mind. His ability to simplify complicated concepts allows clients to make informed decisions with confidence.
In his leadership role, Don oversees the Mid-Atlantic region at Futurity First, where he recruits, mentors, and supports a growing team of independent advisors. His experience leading multiple field offices and his commitment to advisor development has earned him recognition at industry leadership conferences and multiple recruiting achievement awards over the years.
Don holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Radford University. He also holds industry designations including LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) and LACP (Life and Annuity Certified Professional), along with a Series 65 license, enabling him to provide a broad range of financial and investment services to his clients.
Outside of work, Don lives in Roanoke, Virginia with his wife Katie and their two sons. He is actively involved in his community and committed to helping others pursue financial clarity and long-term financial well-being.
